Sarah Burke is just about perfect. She's got killer blue eyes, gorgeous blond hair, and impeccable grades. There's just one tiny-all right, enormous-flaw: her nose. But even that's not so bad. Sarah's got the best best friend and big goals for print journalism fame. On the first day of senior year, Rock Conway walks into her journalism class and, well, rocks her world. Problem is, her best friend, Kristen, falls for him too. And when Rock and Kristen stand together, it's like Barbie and Ken come to life. So when Kristen begs Sarah to help her nab Rock, Sarah does the only thing a best friend can do-she agrees. For someone so smart, what was she thinking? This hip retelling of Cyrano de Bergerac is filled with hilariously misguided matchmaking, sweet romance, and a gentle reminder that we should all embrace our flaws.

This book was super cute! I really enjoyed reading from Sarah's point of view. Sure, there were time when I wanted to shake her, and call her stupid, but that's the beauty of her. Sarah isn't perfect; she's a teenage girl. There are so many books that have main characters who seem to know everything. I love how she didn't know what the heck was going on. I really do wish she would have had a different view on Jay though. I'm a sucker for characters like him. Oh boy. He's funny, but he wasn't the only one. Jay was intentionally funny, but Rock was unintentionally funny. I thought it was hilarious when he didn't catch onto Kristen's slip-ups, or when he didn't know what her & Jay were talking about.
I read this book in one sitting. It was a really cute, fluffy book with a message. I usually cant stand it when book have obvious 'messages', but this book really was great. How Sarah feels about her nose is how every girl feels  one time or another. It's a relatable book. Also, as a fellow Texan, I had a fantastic time reading about places I go to/been. It made everything more vivid. When Kristen was explaining her date at the Galleria, I pictured it happening in MY mall.
Anyway,  If you're looking for a book that's sure to put a smile on you face, this one is for you.
